I lived in the Pacific Northwest with my best friend and love of my life for almost 54 years. Now I live with my five kids (which includes two amazing kidlets-in-law), and my electronics (couldn't live without my iPads and laptop).
I was the only girl in a family of boys and I grew up reading westerns by Zane Grey and espionage thrillers by Alistair MacLean (Ice Station Zebra, Where Eagles Dare, and Guns of Navarone, to name some of the more popular ones). I have too many favorite authors to list here, but if it involves action adventure I have probably read it. My current favorite author is Bernard DeLeo, who unapologetically wrote pulp fiction — no relation to the movie. I began writing as soon as I could hold a pen. Then came college, nursing, marriage, and kids, and my life was full. A few years ago, both my sons began writing, and that inspired me to dip my pen in the ink well again - figuratively speaking, of course. Being an action junkie, I write what I read, so my books are about men of action, commitment, honor, and courage. They are also usually smart alecks, because "they" say write what you know. For those of you who enjoy a good fight, secrets, and testosterone as much as I do, welcome to my imaginary life. Any and all feedback is welcome, just keep it civil and I promise to read it and respond when I can. Thanks for joining me on this adventure — no pun intended. |
